International Relations
The Office of Alumni, Corporate and International Relations (ACIR) serves as the nodal office for coordinating and facilitating the Institute’s interactions with international universities, academic institutions, research organizations, government agencies, embassies, and diplomatic missions.
ACIR facilitates the development and implementation of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), academic agreements, and strategic partnerships with universities and institutions across the world. These collaborations focus on strengthening higher education, research, innovation, knowledge exchange, and academic cooperation, while promoting the mobility of students, faculty, scholars, and researchers through exchange programmes and other collaborative initiatives.
The Office coordinates and provides support for matters relating to international students, visiting scholars, exchange students, interns, faculty members, and researchers associated with IIT Guwahati. It also facilitates their engagement with the Institute and assists in ensuring a smooth academic and institutional experience during their association with IIT Guwahati.
ACIR also maintains and facilitates interactions with embassies, diplomatic missions, international agencies, and partner institutions to explore and strengthen opportunities for academic, research, cultural, and institutional cooperation.
Through these initiatives, ACIR contributes to enhancing IIT Guwahati’s global presence and strengthening its international academic and research network, creating opportunities for meaningful collaborations and sustained engagement with institutions and organizations worldwide.
