I am Dipankar Narayan Basu, presently an Associate Professor, affiliated to the department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. Just to provide a brief background, I graduated from the Jadavpur University, Kolkata, in 2002 and received Masters' degree from there as well in 2004. Then I joined Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur for my doctoral studies and defended my PhD dissertation in 2011.
My professional career started at the department of Mechanical Engineering, Bengal Engineering & Science University Shibpur, in April 2008, where I continued as an Assistant Professor till June 2012. Subsequently I joined my present institute and happily continuing till date. I got promoted to my present designation of Associate Professor in October 2018.
