Information for Presenters

Instructions for Podium presenters
  1. Each podium paper is slotted for presentation in a specific podium session, and has 15 minutes for presentation and 3 minutes for discussion.
  2. The papers are to be presented using PowerPoint or Pdf format.
  3. The speakers should arrive at the venue for their podium session at least 15 minutes before the start of the session.
  4. A system (windows) and LCD projector will be available to use for podium presentations.
  5. Speakers should provide details of their CV to the Session chair for their introduction, and load/check their presentation slides onto the computer.
  6. All speakers should adhere strictly to the time allotted to their presentation.
  7. Organisers will be around to help with the presentation.

Please Note: Brief podium presentation slot is for Poster presenters.

Instructions for Poster presenters/ Brief podium presenters
  1. This session has two parts. First is a short oral presentation by the author(s) of each poster in a brief Presentation Session. This will be followed by display of the poster during the 'Poster Session' at the poster display area.
  2. The authors of each poster has 5 mins for the brief podium presentation.
  3. Computer and LCD projector will be available for use for these presentations.
  4. The authors should prepare a PowerPoint presentation. (5 slides or less) which should be pre-loaded on the organisers' computer for presentation at the appropriate 'Brief Podium Presentation' session.
  5. The speakers should arrive at the venue for their 'Brief Podium Presentation' session at least 15 minutes before the start of the session.
  6. They should provide details of their CV to the Session chair for their introduction, and check their presentation slides on the computer.
  7. All speakers should adhere strictly to the time allotted to their presentation. Questions and answers will be near your poster during the poster break.
  8. Organisers will be around to help with the presentation and poster display.
  9. The authors should ALSO prepare a poster and carry this to the conference for displaying during the conference.
  10. If you want us to print your poster in Guwahati send your file (pdf, ai or ppt) by 29th December to 'shahiniftindia[at]gmail.com' and copy to 'icord17[at]iitg.ernet.in'
  11. Please make sure that the poster is in portrait format and of size 2 feet by 3 feet (60.96 cm by 91.44 cm).
