Abstract:
In this article, body-to-body (B2B) communication has been investigated for different sporting activities in different scenarios. The B2B system performance has been analyzed in terms of outage probability and average symbol error probability (ASEP). Lognormal mixture distribution has been used as the channel model since it can suitably describe the shadowing effects in B2B communication. However, closed-form expressions are not achievable, so mixture of gamma (MG) distribution has been used to obtain closed-form expressions for this system. The analytical results have been validated by means of Monte Carlo simulations.
