Sasmita Rout is a Ph.D. scholar in the Department of Mathematics at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati from July 2018. She is pursuing Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. Gautam Kumar Das. She received the B.Sc. degree in physics from Sambalpur University, Odisha, India, and the MCA degree from BPUT, Odisha, India, and M.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Data Processing from ITER, Odisha, India. Her research interests include Approximation algorithms, Computational Geometry and Graph Theory .
