Mr. Kushal Bora, a PhD student, working jointly with Prof. Shankar Prasad Kanaujia and Prof. Vikash Kumar Dubey of IIT BHU (under the joint PhD Program) patented a few molecules against Leishmania Donovani which causes a disease called Kala-Azar in India. This significant breakthrough, recently published in the prestigious Journal of Drug Delivery Science and Technology, was led by Prof Vikash Kumar Dubey from the School of Biochemical Engineering, IIT-BHU, and Prof Shankar Prasad Kanaujia, and Mr Kushal Bora PhD students under the joint PhD Program.
