Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) to collaborate on several projects and programs in the future and work together toward disaster risk reduction and resilient society building. Shri Jogen Mohan, Honorable Minister of Revenue and Disaster Management, Government of Assam, was this event's chief guest and witnessed the signing of MoU. Honorable minister also launched the website of the Center for Disaster Management and Research (CDMR) website, IITG in the presence of Prof TG Sitharam, Director, IIT Guwahati.
