       ● Capture, conversion and storage of solar energy in various viable forms including chemical energy,       

        electrical energy etc.

      ● Merits and demerits of various methods for solar energy harvesting and technological challenges.

 

Topics to be Covered

       ● Phtochemical water-splitting and hydrogen production.        

      ● Biofuels including bio-ethanol, bio-diesel and bio-hydrogen.   

      ● Storage of solar fuels using metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and covalent-organic frameworks (COFs).
