ABSTRACT:
Standard Finite Element Method can not be directly applied to Singular
Perturbation Problems. To overcome this difficulty, we will solve
Singularly Perturbed Convection Diffusion Equation using Discontinuous
Galerkin Methods and coupled continuous-discontinuous Finite Element
Methods. This talk will basically deal with the existence and uniqueness
of the solution. Further, error estimate for both the methods has been
also derived.
