Construction of seating areas in hostel

Project Description

The canteen terraces of Lohit, Brahmaputra (above the mess area), Disang, and Dhansiri Hostels at IIT Guwahati have great potential to become vibrant spaces for students to relax and socialize. Currently, these terraces are underutilized and lack appeal. To enhance them, a beautification project is needed, including aesthetic infrastructure, small plants, chairs, tables, sheds, railings, fans, and lighting. This will improve visual appeal, create a healthier environment, and make the spaces functional and comfortable. With these upgrades, the terraces will become inviting areas for studying, dining, and socializing. The project should be prioritized, with completion expected within a month, to enhance student life and demonstrate a commitment to campus improvement.
