**1. PhD:**

(**a) ****Dr. Swapan Kr. Pandit:**** Defended his thesis titled "HOC schemes for incompressible viscous flows on
geometries beyond rectangular" on 9 May, 2007 (with Dr. D. C. Dalal, Department of Mathematics, IITG as the joint
supervisor). After working as a research associate in IISc Bangalore, post
doctoral fellow in Université Pierre et Marie Curie-Paris 6**,

**(b)**** Dr. Rajendra Kr. Ray:**** Defended his thesis titled "Some new directions in HOC methodology: tackling
circular geometries" on 12 September 2009. After spending a
year as a research associate at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and
working as a post doctorate fellow at the Laboratoire d'Hydraulique
Saint-Venant in Paris, France for another year, he is currently working as an
Associate Professor in the School of Basic Sciences at Indian
Instititute of Technology Mandi.**

**(d)** **Dr. Bidyut Bikash Gogoi:** **Defended his PhD thesis titled "Some diverse directions in
higher order compact methodology" on 30th December 2014. He is currently
working as a scientist at Indian Space Research Organisation
(ISRO). **
