A YES, if you are eligible up to a maximum of three; however only one project will be funded

A Yes

A A maximum of 15% only for consumables, contingency and travel.

Q How much of the allotted project budget can be used for paying Institute overheads at PI parent institution?
A A maximum of 10% only.

Q During execution of project if PI or PI’s student wishes to carry out experiments at IIT Guwahati, will IIT Guwahati arrange for travel and accommodation of the same?
A NO. All expenses must be met from TRAVEL head of PI’s NECBH Twinning project. Guesthouse/Hostel facility at IITG may be availed on a payment basis as appropriate.

Q When submitting a research manuscript for publication in a journal or conference proceeding based on work carried out in this project, is it mandatory to acknowledge funds support from NECBH Twinning 2018.
A YES, it is mandatory.

Q Will there be any additional charge to use the NECBH facility?
A No, additional charge.

Q Will there be any additional charge to use the non NECBH facility of IIT Guwahati?
A No additional charge for IIT Guwahati Co-PI, Institute may charge the outsider to use the facility.

Q Can I add funds for a JRF in the project proposal?
A No. Funding for MANPOWER is not possible in NECBH twinning 2018.
