Research
Research in the laboratory is centred on areas of experimental and cognitive psychology. The laboratory primarily focuses on the following field of psychology:
- Human Memory: Experiments in the field of episodic, semantic, spatial and episodic memories are of particular interest. These areas have been researched upon by various scholars associated with the laboratory
- Attention: Research in the field of selective attention and load theory are of primary interest. Besides, other areas of attention bridging with memory have also been experimented upon by previous scholars of the laboratory.
- Other cognition areas: Decision making and language are two areas of cognition that we have worked on in the past.
- Special skills: The laboratory specializes in sleep recording and analysis and electrophysiology, including event-related potential studies and brain stimulation studies.
