Lecture Timings: This course has weekly ONE contact hour and TWO hours of lab.

Evaluation Plan:

Theory Exams (Average of two or more exams)	30 marks
Lab Assignments	20 marks
Lab Exam I	20 marks
End-Semester Lab Examination	30 marks
Total	100 marks

General Instructions:

• Attendance in all the contact hours and in all the lab hours is compulsory. Students who do not meet minimum (as per the policy of the institute) attendance requirement will NOT be allowed to write the end-semester (both theory and lab) examination. They will be awarded an 'F' grade.
• Students are required to do only their required programming during the lab hours. Any form of malpractice (like copying from others, etc.) will attract suitable penalty.
• The portion (of the syllabus) for the examinations will be announced then and there, and in general would cover up to the last lecture just before the examination. The end-semester examination will cover all topics.
