Welcome to IEAC
The Industrial Energy Assessment Cell (IEAC) was established in 2023 at IIT Guwahati is dedicated to enhancing energy efficiency across industries and organizations that consume energy. This initiative aims to lower energy costs and improve profitability by conducting both walk-through assessments and comprehensive energy analyses.
IEAC conducts various energy assessment studies to identify and recommend effective energy conservation measures that save costs and significantly reduce emissions, contributing to the broader goal of decarbonizing energy consumption across various sectors.
In addition to these technical assessments, the IEAC enables technological interventions that enhance energy efficiency. A key component of this mission is creating awareness and educating stakeholders about the importance of energy conservation practices. By fostering a culture of sustainability and innovation, the cell aspires to empower industries and organizations to adopt cleaner, more efficient technologies, ultimately leading to a greener and more prosperous future for the nation.
