Agnirup Sarkar is an Assistant Professor of Economics at IIT Guwahati. His areas of research include Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics and Financial Economics. Before joining IIT Guwahati, he had worked as a visiting scientist at the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata and been in a research position at Bank of Slovenia, Ljubljana. His teaching interests include Macroeconomics, Growth Economics, Corporate Finance and International Finance. He has published in international journals like Journal of Macroeconomics and Energy Economics and has presented in several national and international conferences.
