About

Dr. Abraham Cyril Issac is an Assistant Professor in the School of Business at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India. He is a joint Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Australia. He is a Mechanical engineer from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur and has completed postgraduate degrees in Business Administration, Psychology, and Business Law from the National Institute of Technology Calicut, University of Madras, and NLSIU Bangalore respectively. He is also a trained thermal powerplant engineer and now specializes in Organizational Behavior with a special focus on a relatively new construct of Knowledge hiding and is one of the most productive researchers in the area.

Dr. Issac is a recipient of the IIT Madras Institute Research (IR) Award 2021, awarded by the institute for excellent Ph.D work and the R. N Rajendran Award for Best Thesis in the area of Organizational Behaviour/Human Resource Management. His academic interests include Organizational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, Knowledge Management and Strategy. He has published and presented extensively in various reputed international journals and conferences. Moreover, he is a well-known OB and Industrial Psychology consultant, and engages actively in consultancy, training and coaching programmes.
