A student of Undergraduate Degree in Engineering (BE/BTech), appearing in sixth semester (or third year) may contact through email for summer internship. Also, a student should apply formally by filling attached form in hard copy and send it as per the instructions given in the form. Form is attached below. A duly filled application in hard copy should reach to HoD, Dept of Civil Engineering, IIT Guwahati on or before February 28 of a year. Selected students will be intimated by email and they will also get accommodation during summer (strictly from May 16 – July 15 of a year).

A students of Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology (ME/MTech) may contact and send the CV through email for the research internship throughout the year. Also, student of Undergraduate Degree in Engineering (BE/BTech), after completing examinations of sixth semester (or third year) may contact through email for research internship. The student will NOT get any accommodation in IIT Guwahati campus for the research internship. Students with skills in computational background are encouraged to apply. In addition, student should send a duly forwarded and signed consent from Head of Institute, where he/she is pursuing the degree. Only selected students will get opportunity to work as research interns.
