Aushadhi Investigators

Aushadhi investigators will perform a viability analysis of the idea, problem or requirement. With a vibrant intellectual pool across various disciplines at IITG, and other partner institutions and investigators across the world; we hope we can come up with practical solutions that can be translated to specific products. Once successful, these solutions promise affordable alternative healthcare solutions to public at minimal expense globally.

The title of 'Aushadhi Investigator' is given as an honor, conferred to the principal investigator of an aushadhi project successfully completed, meeting all the translational objectives of the proposed work, critically evaluated by a high level committee. Apart from this, aushadhi will confer this title as 'honorary' to very distinguished scientists in India and abroad who are willing to participate in the academic activities of aushadhi.

Aushadhi Connect provides a platform for amateur and young researchers, work together for an open innovation problem in healthcare sector.

1. Who can be a Mentor?

Generally, a Scientist or a Faculty in higher educational institution who has a laboratory, infrastructure and resources in carrying out the proposed research can be a Mentor.

2. Who is an Innovator?

An individual or a group of individuals cutting across age, educational background and nationality, can register as an innovator, submit an idea and choose one or a set of prospective Mentors with whom He/She can work with, in developing their idea.

3. How would aushadhi-connect facilitate once the idea has been submitted?

While submission of an idea, innovator may choose one or few prospective Mentors, whom he/she can work with. The date stamped synopsis of the idea submitted, will be made available to those mentors. Mentor may choose respond to the innovator, if he/she finds it interesting.

4. How will aushadhi-connect verify the quality of the submitted idea?

Aushadhi-connect is an automated system, with minimal intervention from its promoters. All future activity, including quality of ideas submitted is the responsibility of Mentor and Innovator.

5. I am registered as a Mentor. When some innovator choose me as a Mentor, I get an email asking my opinion. I find it disturbing. What would I do?

Well, You can opt not to respond, or in extreme case you may even block mails from aushadhi. It is a voluntary scientific activity. No compulsions from aushadhi administrators.

6. I am innovator. I am getting multiple interests from different Mentors. How do I proceed?

It is Innovators choice. Aushadhi will not interfere in any such scientific activity or decision making process.

7. I am an innovator. I am not getting any response. What would I do?

Well, it can be because your idea is not interesting or not in the broad research area of your Mentors. Try others after studying their website.

8. Do the date stamped idea disclosure has any legal sanctity?

No

9. Do we need to pay aushadhi for this (aushadhi-connect) service?

No, It is free of cost.
