The programme is inspired by 4I labs concept, and UROP programme of premier institutions around the world. This Programme will be piloted by a high level committee of IITG.
UROP programme will recruit 10-15 second year undergraduate students under this program. In the initial phase, this recruitment will be only from IITG students. Through this programme, we envisage forming a collaborative virtual research group of engineering and medical students from reputed medical institutions. This collaboration is intended to design and develop novel cost effective solutions, which are otherwise expensive. It can be tools, diagnostic kits, surgical aids, patient record software’s, statistical methods etc.
The project will be monitored by an investigator or group of investigators from long list of aushadhi investigators. Intellectual property rights will be shared between aushadhi and innovator groups.
