Conclusion

In this experiment, we have found out stiffness and natural frequency of the system theoretically and experimentally. In calculating the natural frequency, we have to account the mass of accelerometer and mass of the hanger also. There is good agreement between theoretical and experimental values and the response of the spring mass system for a small initial disturbance is observed. The animation of the spring mass system is also shown in VI�s for better visualization.
