Title: | COBRA Boosting for Survival Analysis |
Speaker: | Mr. Rahul Goswami |
Date: | 28th February 2023 (Tuesday) |

Abstract: Survival analysis is a statistical method that is used to understand the time to the occurrence of an event in various fields such as medicine, engineering, economics, and social sciences. It is an essential tool for analyzing time-to-event data, such as the time until death or the time until the failure of a mechanical component. COBRA (Combined Regression Aggregation) is a machine learning algorithm that combines multiple regression models into a single model to improve predictive accuracy. COBRA has been successfully applied to various regression and classification problems, but its use in survival analysis has not been explored extensively. The focus of this presentation is to showcase the application of COBRA in the context of survival analysis.
