About ACMFMS

The 8th Asian Conference on Mechanics of Functional Materials and Structures (ACMFMS-2022) will run offline 11 to 14 December 2022. The aim of this conference is to provide a forum for researchers and academics, particularly from East Asia and the neighboring regions, to interact, exchange ideas and establish relationships, with a view to future cooperation and subsequent development of research in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics of Solids. Young university faculty and researchers are especially encouraged to participate, and use this opportunity to network with others who are also seeking to develop their research abilities and experience.

Place and Time

The conference will be held at Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Guwahati on 11-14 December, 2022.
The campus is on a sprawling 285 hectares plot of land on the north bank of the river Brahmaputra around 20 kilometers from the heart of the city. With the majestic Brahmaputra on one side, and with hills and vast open spaces on other side, the campus provides an ideal setting for learning.The institute has all required facilities like health center, students, hostels, faculty and staff quarters, guest house, library, computer center, sports facilities, canteens etc.The institute is located at about 20 kilometers from airport and railway station.The weather is generally cold in December reaching 10-15° C during night time.

Two pages Extended Abstract Submission:
Your abstract must be concise and factual and state briefly the purpose of the work, the principal results and major contributions. Please use the style sheets predefined in this document as far as possible. The title of the abstract should be written in Times New Roman, bold, 14 pt, centered. Initial letter of each word should be capitalized. Author’s name and affiliation should be written in Times New Roman, 12 pt and 10.5 pt, centered, respectively. If there are several authors or affiliations, related numbers should be given using superscripts. The font size should be 10pt in Times New Roman. This abstract must be no more than 250 words.
