Ashif Iqbal did his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from Tezpur University in 2010. After his graduation, he worked as Assistant Professor in GIMT, Guwahati (2011-12). He completed Ph.D. from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Guwahati (2012-2019) under the supervision of Prof. Manmohan Pandey. He published his research in two articles and presented in nine conferences. He joined Global Research Center of General Electric as Research Scientist in the year 2019. He has received two "Bravo Award" at General Electric. His work scope includes thermal management specially high heat flux cooling, experimental flow boiling and heat transfer.
