Researcher, Université catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain), Belgium (PhD 2016)

Azd Zayoud obtained his B.Tech. and M.Sc. in Energy from Tishreen University in 2007. He worked as an assistant lecturer for five four years and in 2012. He granted the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) scholarship and obtained his Ph.D. from IITG in 2016; under the supervision of Prof. Pinakeswar Mahanta and Prof. Ujjwal K. Saha. The thesis work was focused on Circulating Fluidized Bed Combustor and Oxy-Fuel Combustion. He worked with Prof. Marin Guy and Kevin Van Geem on end-of-life plastics recycling in the Laboratory for Chemical Technology (LCT) at Ghent University (UGent) as a postdoctoral researcher from 2018 to 2020. In 2021, Azd joined Prof. Contino Francesco & Prof. Hervé Jeanmart Research Group at Université Catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain) to work as a principal researcher on FLEXnCONFU project.
