Department Research Lab
Our research focuses on vast areas, ranging from basic fluid dynamics to biofluid mechanics. We are mostly interested in computational fluid dynamics. Numerical simulation of incompressible flows over complex geometries to understand flow physics is a challenging task necessitating the use of fast grid generation, robust solution algorithm, and efficient post-processing. We solve the problems using our own in-house solvers, one of them being named AnuPravaha. We also use a combination of tools to carry out careful experiments. Our laboratory is equipped with a number of high-performance computing clusters along with many standalone desktops.
