Research Area
My Primary research area is modelling of damage and failure in composite materials. Due to the non-homogenous nature of the composite material, the failure phenomenon is complex and
not understood clearly. While the thrust is on numerical modelling, the results are vindicated by the experimental studies.
My Secondary areas of interest is developing medical devices. Product design through innovation to transform an idea to reality will be the aim of the work.
