  • Nagendra Kumar has joined Stanford University as a Postdoctoral fellow in June 2022.
  • The group demonstrated the modular optical microscope of the project openscopes and Zernike based FSO at the NERC22 held at IITG in May 2022.
  • S S Goutam Buddha has won the best poster presentation OSI award in the Optical Society of India Conference, November, 2017.
  • Santanu Konwar, PhD student, has received the (joint) best poster presentation OSA award, in the Optical Society of India Symposium, 2016.
  • Biswajit Pathak, PhD student, has received the second best oral presentation OSI award and second best poster presentation OSI award, in the Optical Society of India Symposium, 2016.
  • Biswajit Pathak, PhD student, has received the third best paper award in Guwahati Biotech Park`s Talent Search contest on Innovative Research Ideas.
