Experimental Facilities in the Low Temperature Laboratory :
- Four probe electrical resistivity set up for measurements down to 15 K.
- Magneto-resistivity set up for measurements down to 15 K and field variation upto 1.5T.
- Indigenously developed AC Susceptibility set up (down to 15 K).
- Indigenously developed Low field (a few Oe) M-H loop set up (down to 77K).
- Dielectric constant and Impedance Measurement System
- Material preparation facilities using solid state route.
Major Equipment in Low Temperature Laboratory :
· Closed Cycle Helium Refrigerator cryostats
· 10” Electro-Magnet (1.5 T for 2.5” air gap with 3” tapered pole dia.)
