DOTTs- Database of Therapeutic Plants against Tuberculosis
Our research contributes to the field of traditional medicine and phytopharmaceuticals by representing the ethnobotanical practices prevalent amongst the indigenous tribes of India for treating tuberculosis in the form of a database-DOTTs. The database provides information about the plant part used and its mode of administration, along with the tribe and geographical location. Further, the reported antimycobacterial validation of the plants is also included. This database will help the researchers acquire information about the plants that could be beneficial for further evaluating and discovering potential leads in TB drug discovery.
