Welcome to my home page

Hey y’all! I’m a Ph.D. scholar at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. Currently at grad school doing my research. Beautiful campus life and few good friends at IIT made me gleeful. Every household in India get access to uninterrupted electricity, would be my dream come true. Renewable energy is the best way to make that possible. To take up my dream, I have chosen to work in the area of “Photovoltaic Energy”.

I love animals. To end up cruelty towards animals, I choose to be ‘Vegan’. I believe, we do not need to eat animals, wear animals, or use animals for entertainment purpose, and our only defense of these uses is our pleasure, amusement, and convenience. Really, it feels awesome to be loud for animals.

Of all the sports, I like badminton most. Every morning a few hours spent on badminton court, keep me energized throughout the day. Besides I love swim, and go for cycling. Traveling, exploring, biking & photography are my passion. Ardent about plants, I put a small garden in my balcony. Few grown up and few little babies are always smiling. Plants always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul. A foodie by choice & I love to try my hands on cooking too.

Learning another language is not only learning different words for the same things, but learning another way to think about things. Currently I am learning Assamese. At the end of the day, few moments spent on ‘Odia literature’ makes a perfect ending.

Things sounds pretty normal, doesn’t it?
Well, life gets messy sometimes, and I like to write about my messes along the way. I blog a bit too infrequently at Irréversible Journey. In addition, I am writing a book about my memories and experiences as a research scholar at IIT.
