Dr. Haraprasad N is a self-motivated achiever with Phd in Biotechnology from University of Mysore. He has 26 years of professional experience in teaching, research and administration. He is Professor in the Department of Biotechnology and Deputy Registrar, at JSS Science and Technology University. His research interests include, biological control and water resource management, screening of antiviral compounds, medical biotechnology, Biosimilars, signal transduction in metabolic disorders with special reference to Infectious and Non-infectious diseases which is wide spread in Indian population. He has supervised 44 UG and PG students for their dissertation work and presently guiding two doctoral students. He has to his credit one published book, 38 research publications;11 in peer reviewed International journals, and rest in National journals and conference proceedings. He has co-authored one book chapter.
