Professor Jyothi has over 32 years’ professional experience and her work has involved inter-disciplinary approach to water research. She got more than thirty two (32) years of teaching research and industrial experience at different institutions/universities/organisations.
She has more than Fifty five (55nos) publications at National and International Journals / Conferences to her credit and guided Nine (9 nos) M. Tech Students (1M.Tech Co guide), 18 B.Tech Projects, five small students projects under TEQIP funded project of the World bank and one project of asset mapping by the IIRS.
She has coordinated three Global Initiative Academic Network Programmes (GIAN) on “Hydrologic Modelling and Climate Change” sponsored by MHRD, Govt of India with International expert as Prof Vijay P Singh, Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering, Texas A & M University, USA. Dec 05-16, 2016, “Water future for Urban & Rural Landscape during Feb 9-13,2018 with International expert Prof. Basant Maheshwari Western Sydney University, Australia and another programme “Water Quality Regulations And Modelling Approaches” during Sept 4-8,2018 with Inter National Expert as Dr Ali Mahdavi Mazdeh, Water Engineering Department, Imam Khomeini International University Qazvin, IRAN.
She has organized sixteen (16) training / workshop programmes for the faculty of engineering colleges, field engineers funded by MHRD, DST, AICTE-ISTE, TEQIP WORLD BANK project and organized Science academies sponsored Refresher course “Hydrology of floods” during 8 Jan-19 2018 and ICAR, sponsored course Mountain Hydrology and Climate Change during March 19 -29 2018. She has undergone Thirty five(35) at national level, Seven (7) International and training /workshop programmes organised by UNESCO, DFID, SDC, DST, DOE, AICTE, ISTE, NAAC, ICH, NORAD, IGSH etc
She has attended International (Credited) Training / Workshop Programmes at University of Sterling, Sterling (U.K.), Kathmandu, (NEPAL); Thimpu, (BHUTAN), Trondheim & Oslo (NORWAY); Bochum, (Germany), sponsored with full funding by Ministry of Earth Sciences & IUKWC, NORAD / UNESCO. Presented papers at International Conferences at Muscat, (Oman); Beijing, (China); Dhaka(Bangladesh) sponsored by UNESCO, TWOWS and IWFM.
