Dr Meenakshi Arora is an Associate Professor in Environmental Engineering at The University of Melbourne. Dr Arora has extensive experience in both research and university teaching including PhD supervision. Her main research focus is on Water resource management, Integrated catchment modelling, Urban water cycle modelling, Water-Energy nexus, water quality, stream health, land and groundwater remediation and Contaminant transport modelling.
Dr. Arora is Assistant Dean International (India) at Melbourne School of Engineering. She is also serving as Director of Melbourne India Postgraduate Academy (MIPA) and winner of 2017 Award for Excellence in Internationalisation of Research. Dr Arora has been awarded several fellowships and awards for her work in water industry and has published widely in peer reviewed journals. She has chaired several international conferences and organized various sessions in national and international conferences. She serves as a member of editorial boards as well as reviewers for various journals.
