Dr. Sreevalsa’s research interests include Seismic Hazard Assessment, Liquefaction, Disaster Risk Reduction, Soil reinforcement, Slope stability, and Water geotechnics. He has authored five books and over 50 research papers. He is Editorial Board member of two International Journals. He is Adviser to Think India, a national forum of students from premier Institutes in India. He is currently the Secretary Indian chapter of International Association for Coastal Reservoir Research (IACRR). The New Indian Express honored Dr. Sreevalsa with Edex award: 40 under 40 - South India's Most Inspiring Young Teachers. He is in the roster of two technical committees of ASCE. He received "IEI Young Engineers Award" by The Institution of Engineers (India), in recognition of his contributions in the field of Civil Engineering.
