Brief career profile

Ravi Saxena is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engg of College of Technology, Pantnagar. He is having National /International professional experience level over 9 years at and teaching experience of more than 15 years. He developed a technology for monitoring of distribution transformer and solar PV system using Internet of Things (IoT) for which Indian patent application has been filed and under process for approval. His current research focus is on developing technologies for real time monitoring of data in IoT environment. Also his focus is on application of solar PV system for use in agriculture irrigation and farm machinery process. Presently involved as Co-PI in SPARC Project funded by MHRD, India Titled “Securing Water for Agricultural and Food Sustainability: Developing Transdisciplinary Approach to Groundwater Management”. He is a member of international professional society IEEE, USA and national professional society IEI of India.
