Working Principle: Vibrating Sample magnetometer (VSM) operates on Faraday's Law of induction, which tells us that a changing magnetic field will produce an electric field. This electric field can be measured and provides us information about the magnetic moment of the sample with changing magnetic field or temperature. The VSM has useful in characterizing newly developed magnetic material and is also used for QC/QA process control application in manufacturing environment.
