CLST promotes interdisciplinary research focusing on language analysis and technology development. The centre is founded on the idea that a balanced blend of different disciplines enhance the quality of research. The centre is involved in digital preservation and archiving of linguistic resources and in training manpower to promote such efforts. PhD admission applications are now invited from individuals adapt in working towards their PhD degrees with an interdisciplinary focus.
