The online library catalogue is known as WebOPAC - https://bidya.iitg.ac.in/opac/home/.
Go to the search button in the library catalogue, use the drop down menu to select the parameters (title, author, subject etc.) and you will get the list available in the library.
Books are arranged sequentially from 000 to 999 on the stacks, as per "Call Number" of the book. First you need to search your book in the WebOPAC, notedown the call number of the book, then locate the physical book on the shelves. "Call Number" of a book appears on the upper left-hand corner of the catalogue.

Indian language books (such as, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Sanskrit, Nepali) are kept on the Ground Floor of the Library. Some of the Reference books on Indian languages are available on the Second Floor also. These books can be searched through WebOPAC.
