    Description:

    Preamble :

This course is designed to introduce engineering students to the fundamental principles of biological sciences, with a focus on molecular and energetic processes that sustain life. It bridges concepts from life sciences and medicine with engineering, enabling students to appreciate how biological systems operate and adapt efficiently in nature. The syllabus covers essential bioenergetics, and the students will also gain insights into the biochemical basis of diseases. By integrating biological knowledge with engineering perspectives, the course equips students to recognise and apply bioengineering principles within their own disciplines, fostering interdisciplinary innovation and relevance.
