A self-taught Art and Design enthusiast with many years of related work experience as a self employed art/design tutor and freelancer; as well as a portfolio of varied accomplishments including referenced articles, exhibitions and achievements. His keen research areas include Audio-Visual Narratives, Cybernetics, Media Psychology and Cultural studies.
As part of the Media Lab, undertaking projects and research in the field of Audio-Visual Narratives and New Media Studies helped him create insights and connecting the relationships between the fields of Art, Science, Innovation, and Technology; gaining essential knowledge in making a decision about the suitable use and application of the Creative Technological Aids; and, further, developing those bits of knowledge and insights for the creation of New Innovation.
Theyyam as an Environmental Theatre: History, Perception and Future
The research attempts to explore and delineate not only the nuances of the cultural and visual significance of folklore, Theyyam, but also considers it as a medium of art and how it influences society. A study on cultural anthropology and its changes with the advancement of human society over time, visual aesthetics of the performance and the perception of the environmental ritual as a medium. And thus, to tell people a story of God, of a forgotten past, a misappropriated history and how Gods are born today, but not Theyyam.
