This is not another boring club. We have lots of technical activities as well.
Aquaponics refers to any system that combines conventional aquaculture (raising aquatic animals such as snails, fish, crayfish or prawns in tanks) with hydroponics (cultivating plants in water). Under this system, a sustainable symbiotic relationship is established between plants and aquatic animals.
This project evolved around the technology involving image processing and machine learning which works by the android application, preparing the database for the trees inside an ecosystem with their proper names and location within an area with their medical benefits.
Innovation doesn’t always implies developing new technologies but also making the present one more efficient. Dual Axis Solar Tracker comprises a dual axis based tracker placed with a solar panel that can respond to light emitting source and point to that direction, such that the tracker will keep the solar panel perpendicular to the sun throughout the year in order to make it more efficient.
With new automated methods in different arenas of farming like irrigation, seeding etc, the situation calls in for an automated method of plantation. This project thus is the best implementation of automated farming in small scale.
Soil Less Culture uses Hydroponics as the method of growing plants without soil, where the media can be a nutrient solution itself for some inert substrates which only serve for anchorage of the roots.
Well this year Prakriti Club holds the vision for completing these enthralling projects which are as cool as they sound.
