A series of workshops and hands-on training sessions are planned as part of the INUP program. The workshops are targeted to achieve the following:

• Familiarization of Indian researchers with the broad area of nanoelectronics.
• Familiarization of potential users of the INUP - i2i program with the nanoelectronics infrastructure and researchers at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur and IISc Bangalore.
• Support the exploratory and innovative research for development of technologies in Nanoelectronics
• A platform to present the outcome of the program to nanoelectronics researchers from India.
• To help the nanoelectronics researchers in India identify complementary expertise within the broad area of nanoelectronics.
