Lab Development
  1. I have developed optoelectronics and nanofabrication clean room equipped with Thermal and E-Beam Evaporator, Mask Aligner Karl Suss MJB-3 (for UV exposure), Optical Profiler Veecco Wyko NT1100, Spinner, Microwave Oven, Ultrasonic Cleaner, Reynold Chiller, Dry and Wet Benches, Millipore DI Water System, Rapid Thermal Annealing System and Plasma RIE. I have hands-on experience to operate all these equipments. Our group have also designed rapid thermal anneal system. In course of my thesis we have also designed a lamp anneal system. I have also developed waveguide loss measurement set up in the range of 1270-1610nm. This is all at IIT Kanpur.

  2. I have developed the dark room lab for fiber optic system at IIT Guwahati.

  3. Development of a new ‘Fabrication Facility for Silicon Photonics and Microelectronics Devices’ under DST-FIST is going on.
