Souraja Kundu wins QUAD fellowship

Souraja Kundu, B.Tech student (2021–2025) of the Department of Electronics and Electrical Engineering, has been awarded the 2025 Quad Fellowship, one of the most esteemed international fellowships in STEM. She is among only 37 students selected globally for this highly competitive program, and will pursue her PhD in Machine Learning at Carnegie Mellon University, USA. Souraja also received the Governor of Assam Gold Medal during the 27th Convocation of IIT Guwahati for her outstanding academic performance. The Quad Fellowship, supported by the governments of Australia, India, Japan, and the USA, aims to foster global leadership and collaboration in STEM.
