Tasleem wants to share his Germany visit
I vividly remember my first trip to Germany during the first week of July, 2017 for an International Symposium-ISVLSI. I was excited as its my first foreign visit but also bit nervous
as I never went before. On the first trip, I fell in love with the Bochum city where I stayed for five nights in the hotel "Accora and Wohnen". I loved the onset the of summer with long days
and sunsets past 9 pm, just a little hot and not yet burning. The conference has been hosted in Ruhr Universitate, Bochum for three days. I have presented my paper on "A New High
Performance VLSI Architecture for LMS Adaptive Filter using Distributed Arithmetic" on first day of conference. There have been various social events programmed at evening time of all three
days. At the end of the first day, I was invited to attend for welcome Reception at the Union Kino, one of the cinemas in Bochum. The main theme of picture was about James Bond in the
"Focus of Physics" from Prof. Metin Tolan and followed up with a James Bond movie, of course, with popcorn and drinks. The social event for the next day was planned very special!
It is one of the most beautiful places in the Ruhr Region: the Dortmund-Ems Canal. We all the way sailing from the boat lift Henrichenburg and travelled along this canal and enjoy the
landscape. Last day, I managed to go visit wonderful International Football ground "SIGNAL IDUNA" located in Dortmund. I have enjoyed lot of places and in Germany.
