The course’s main goal is to explore child phonology in relation to phonological grammar. The course aims to look at child phonology data so as to understand issues in language development. The course will also deal with the acquisition of phonology in special populations and Second language phonologies of children as well as adults. Finally, the course intends to throw light on the proposed theories of learning and learning algorithms.
