The study is a short-term project supported by Indian Council of Social Science Research, New Delhi. It examines implementation of Prime Minister Awaas Yojana (PMAY) in Assam and its impact on the beneficiaries. The project is primarily based on primary data collected from five districts of Assam namely, Kamrup, Kamrup Metro, and Tamulpur in lower Assam and Dibrugarh and Tinsukia in the upper Assam.
