As stewards of the Microbiology Lab, we are operating within a sanitized environment to ensure the integrity of our experiments.  We are equipped with essential tools for microbial research and analysis.

Micro-biological Incubator

Microbial Cultivation and Growth: Leveraging the Microbiological Incubator, we provide optimal conditions for the cultivation and growth of microorganisms. Whether it's propagating bacterial cultures for biochemical assays or maintaining fungal strains for biotechnological applications, our incubation facilities support a wide range of microbiological studies.

Trinocular stereo zoom and Compound Microscope with camera

Microscopic Analysis and Imaging: With the Trinocular Stereo Zoom and Compound Microscope equipped with a camera, we visualize and analyze microbial structures and interactions at various magnifications. From observing microbial colonies and biofilms to examining cellular morphology and motility, our microscopy capabilities enable detailed investigations into microbial behavior and physiology

-80° Centigrade Deep freezer

Sample Preservation and Storage: Utilizing the -80°C Deep Freezer, we preserve microbial cultures, cell lines, end and biological specimens for long-term storage. By maintaining ultra-low temperatures, we ensure the viability and integrity of valuable microbial resources, facilitating ongoing research and collaboration within and beyond our laboratory.

Centrifuge (Ambient, Temperature Controlled)

Cell Separation anal Biomolecule Purification: With the Centrifuge, including ambient and temperature-controlled options, we perform centrifugation-based separations to isolate microbial cells, organelles and biomolecules. By centrifuging culture broths, cell suspensions. and lysates, we extract and purify target components for downstream analyses such as DNA sequencing, protein characterization and metabolite profiling.

Autoclave

Sterilization and Decontamination: Operating the Autoclave, we sterilize laboratory equipment, media. And waste materials to maintain aseptic conditions and prevent cross-contamination. By ensuring the sterility of our work environment, we uphold the integrity of experimental procedures and safeguard against microbial contamination in research samples and culture media.

Orbital Shaker with Incubator

Microbial Cultivation and Bioprocessing: Utilizing the Orbital Shaker with Incubator, we cultivate microbial cultures under controlled agitation and temperature conditions. By providing dynamic growth environments, we support microbial fermentation, bioproduction, and bioremediation studies aimed at developing novel biotechnological solutions for diverse applications.
