The Ph.D. programme consists mainly of an interdisciplinary research work that contributes to the development of rural areas. The major goal of the School is to provide Scholars with a broad variety of educational experiences: identifying the problem of rural population, developing problem-solving skills, challenging them with open-ended problems and design projects, providing opportunities for teamwork, developing their written and verbal communication skills, and making research or independent study experiences available to those scholars with the desire and capability. Scholars are admitted twice in a year, in July and December.
